Liesl Tiefenthaler

Liesl Tiefenthaler is a marine biologist working in the Biogeochemistry department. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 from California State University, Long Beach. She joined SCCWRP in July, 1994. Currently she is working on projects to characterize the sources of nutrients from atmospheric deposition and “natural background” and estimating those sources to stream, estuaries and nearshore coastal zone.
